Mitt Romney Attacked Gay Families?

In tonight's last GOP debate Mitt (aka Mittens) Romney made references to family values, even though the question was not asked. Mittens veered off into a tantrum about how "the unborn child... [must have] an opportunity to born into home with a mother and a father." He also touted how he sided with the Catholic Church in only dispensing children in homes with only a mother and father. In other words he is trying to say that gays should not be able to adopt children and even have children of their own.

What is Mittens proposing here? That we should have intrusive laws like Communist China where the government can say who can have children and under what circumstances? But of course, "conservatives" wouldn't stoop that low as to monitor gay people's reproduction... or could they?

This is what I call "soft homophobia." Where you slowly, and subtly introduce the concept of anti-gay discrimination under the radar without anybody knowing it. Pretty clever Mittens.
