Indian doctor kills herself claiming that she was 'tortured' by gay husband...

A 31-year-old doctor at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) allegedly committed suicide by slashing her wrist at a hotel room in central Delhi’s Paharganj on Sunday.

In a four-page suicide letter and a note on her Facebook page, Priya Vedi said her husband was a homosexual and accused him of mentally torturing her for dowry. Her husband who is also an AIIMS doctor was arrested on Sunday afternoon.

According to the note posted on the doctor’s Facebook page, Priya and her husband were married for five years but did not consummate the marriage. “We don’t have any physical relation till now… I found a fake gmail account in his laptop in which he was doing chatting with his gay friends and these messages were before of our marriage (sic),” the note said.
