Peruvian Transgender Castrates Herself

A gay 20 year old transgender, identified as Albert Flores Guerrero, cut off her testicles and penis inside the urbanization room in the Quintanas area of Trujillo. She also obtained the aid of a nurse in the botched self surgery and her explanation as to why she went with it was because her genitals "bothered" her.

The incident occurred yesterday, averaging 11:30 in the morning after Flores Guerrero bought local anesthesia, a scalpel blade and hydrogen peroxide at a pharmacy. Returning to her room, she applied the fluid in the pubic area and mutilated herself.

Then Guerrero asked for medical support in Trujillo. The nurse Abraham Abanto was dispatched for assistance and asked why she took such a drastic decision. Her response was overwhelming and surprised the nurse: "my genitals and penis hindered me."

Flores Guerrero was admitted to the emergency room in the Regional Hospital of La Libertad. There the doctors controlled the hemorrhage she suffered, but were unable to reattach the penis.
