Anti-Gay Bigots To Increase The Volume for 2012

Poll after poll has shown that Americans are more accepting of gay people than ever before in 2011 but if you do a quick search of our Archives here on The Gay Report you will find endless articles on homophobes saying the darndest things. These quacks are actually getting louder as Americans continue to ignore.

Ask yourself: how does opposing gay rights or homosexuality or comparing gays to pedophiles actually improve your life? The economy? World peace? It doesn't. Homophobia is anything but peaceful because it can only work with the help and strength of bigotry and violent rhetoric that has lead many dead in this country and now even in places like Mexico who has the highest death toll of LGBT's in the world. But these quacks will do anything for a quick buck, even endorse bigots like Santorum for a nominal fee. I say bigot with an assurance because even the gays at GOProud feel the same way. If GOProud thinks you are a bigot too, well that must mean that you are a super bigot in reality.

But just this year quacks like Bryan Fischer have called for the arrest of gays, for their forced internment, for them to be tried and charged as traitors, has compared gays to creeps like Sandusky and other child abusers and rapists and has called us every name on the book. If you want to see all of that, and have the stomach for it, you can search our site on the Archives or Headlines sections. You will be somewhat surprised what one single evil human being can say about a whole group of people in just under four months. But its not just this quack but others as well that have said really outlandish and downright stupid things about gay people.

Well, get ready. I predict that 2012 will be even crazier, with more and more of these quacks getting even louder and more in our face. As people start to side with us they will obviously turn more desperate. After studying all the news articles on homohobes I can assure you that more is about to come. And don't be surprised if any of this vitriol actually gets physical and violent. I think that a perfect storm is brewing as homophobes get crazier and desperate and seeing that the victim card is not working for them, they will try desperate measures to 'get us back in the closet.'

But lets not live in fear, nor should we hide under the umbrella of anxiety. We are at a pivotal moment in history in which we cannot surrender nor give up. If you think that human equality is a fight worth fighting for then be prepared for the backlash of the violent extremist right. Before they wanted to be right, now they want blood.

2012 will be a year that this site will no doubt be extra busy. We will keep our eyes and ears open to the stupidity and outright shenanigans of the homophobe movement.
