In a decision that opposes national Boy Scouts of America policy, the 30-person Board of Directors at the Cradle of Liberty Council-Boy Scouts of America voted unanimously on an all-inclusive policy this morning that does not discriminate based on sexual orientation.
“We’ve wanted to adopt a different policy for the last 15 years,” said Jim Papada, president of the Cradle of Liberty Council, which serves more than 15,000 youths in the Philadelphia area.
