Liberal National Party MP Mark Robinson has faced a backlash from LGBTI activists after labelling homosexuality as a choice and suggesting children would prefer a mother and father to same-sex parents if given a choice.
Robinson made the comments during this week’s episode of ABC panel show, Q&A. He also accused members of his own party of grandstanding on the issue of equal love and suggested gay marriage could pave the way for polygamy to be legalised.
