CSU track and cross-country runner Andrew Goodman this week became the first Colorado State University athlete to come out publicly as gay, sharing his story with Outsports.

Outsports reports that CSU's GLBTQQA Resource Center has no record of any previous CSU athlete announcing publicly that he or she is gay.
