NEWS EDITORS - Managing and editing news website 'THE GAY REPORT,' gathering and editing news articles, news tips, and light reporting on certain subjects and exclusives. Journalism experience would be helpful but not required.
VIDEO EDITORS - Update and edit 'GAY REPORT VIDEO' website. *EXPERIENCED KNOWLEDGE OF YOUTUBE, HULU, VIMEO, EMBEDDING, HTML, SOURCE CODING, JAVA SCRIPT, VIDEO EDITING A MUST* Knowledge on film, LGBT related cinema, television and general media would be very helpful.
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR - Update and maintain social media products (TWITTER, FACEBOOK). Must have extensive knowledge in Social Media, public relations, and social trends with a savvy pulse on up and coming new social media platforms and technology.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO) - Must have 3 years of prior experience as Chief Financial Officer (preferably a CFO during company start up, but not required) in the marketing, entertainment, or media industry; OR 5 years as an accountant (must be certified) for a small to medium size company or corporation with managerial responsibilities. This is a SALARIED position determined by level of experience and/or education.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
LOCATION: We are headquartered in Phoenix AZ, and therefore candidates must be willing to relocate. We would prefer candidates who are already residing here, but it is not a requirement. Just a fair warning: it does get HOT during the summer months (115 degrees F +). For qualified candidates we will offer up to $1,500 moving expenses if needed.
EDUCATION: At a minimum: Bachelor Degree of Arts or Science in any related field (English, Journalism, Accounting, Media, Communications, etc.) OR Vocational Degree in Computer graphics, design, IT and related computing fields.
KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge in LGBT topics, issues, history, culture, news etc., is a must. Candidates will be tested. And NO -- you don't have to be gay to apply (and being gay or LGBT does not guarantee you a position either) as we are an equal opportunity employer an applicant's sexual orientation, preferences, or gender identity or expression will NOT be considered during the application process. Candidates must be comfortable in being exposed to and openly discussing these topics and viewing materials to that affect.
HOURS: All positions offered are full time positions Monday - Friday with day, night, or graveyard shifts.

- 10.50/hr (Hourly employees).
AFTER 90 DAY TRIAL:
- $15.75/hr; $16.50/hr for graveyard shift (Hourly employees).
