The LPGA several years ago rewrote its rulebook after players voted to remove the so-called “female at birth” requirement. And Bobbi Lancaster would become the latest in a small but growing list of athletes who have crossed or blurred gender boundaries, including Fallon Fox, who on Tuesday came out as the first transgender athlete to compete in mixed martial arts.
