NHL Insights has received unconfirmed reports from sources within Montreal Canadiens NHL team that pro-hockey player Josh Gorges is planning to come out as gay.
The NHL is deemed by many to be a more gay friendlier pro-sports league in America even engaging in a anti-homophobia campaign titled "You Can Play." If Gorges comes out he will be the first currently employed pro-hockey player to come out.
UPDATE(3/5/13 5:27 PM): NHL player, and participant in You Can Play anti-homophobia campaign, Patrick Burke has said that reported rumors are "total bullshit."
