The unfortunate answer is yes.
It is not only unfortunate that gay marriage can be struck down nationwide by a stroke of a pen by a single man, but what should worry all of us is of course the power that the executive branch has given itself.
Hypothetically Romney can do it. Just like Obama has, through executive order, executed American citizens without trial, judge or jury. You and I might think it this is illegal yet it is happening right now and it looks like the other two branches of government are too scared to stop the executive. One reason is that Republicans in congress are pursuing a globalist agenda to bring austerity and destruction in many parts of the world. Obama is helping in this, hence why so many Republicans are behind Obama secretly and in front of the cameras they play him as their enemy.
But congress has given up much of its authority, even its constitutional obligation to investigate abuse of power by the executive. In the NDAA of 2012, signed by Obama, the President has been given ultimate powers to do what he/she wants without the need to get congress' permission and in fact not even required to give congress an explanation.
Simply put Romney, who is obviously under the control of the vicious anti-gay right wing fascist activist Bryan Fischer and other vampires like him, can be pressured to expand the social conservatives' fascist agenda, which include putting gays in concentration camps and whatnot. To what I can recall, congress has passed legislation that authorizes Homeland Security and FEMA to 'mobilize' citizens as commended by the President and ten regional governors under any 'emergency' the President can declare. The legislation, I recall, did not include a definition of 'emergency' and left it up to the President to decide.
If Fischer and company have their way they can get Romney to do pretty much anything. What I am sensing is that Romney is somehow compromised or even blackmailed by this toothless mumbling yokel. I mean what other reason is there for Romney throwing a gay spokesman under the bus after Fischer started complaining about a 'homosexual conspiracy?' Fischer has already declared that gays are already a 'national security risk,' so logical sense would be that Fischer would want to neutralize that threat either by sending gays off to the gulags or flat out sent them into the ovens. If this sounds shocking to you, don't let it be. Remember, it was only 80 years ago that Hitler put together such a scheme, and 80 years is really not a long time.
But if Fischer and company cannot full on execute gays in public (as they secretly want), his national socialist (Nazi Party) ideas can be still centralized in the oval office by simply continuing the current precedent. If Obama can legally kill and murder American citizens why can't the executive do something less drastic like taking their marriage licenses away?
The plan is simple: 'gay marriage is a threat to the nation and it is the responsibility of the President to protect this nation... Mr President please sign this executive order to nullify, and ban all gay marriages in America... Don't worry you have complete authority and sovereignty to do so... This is a national security judgement... You must protect the family, the basic foundation of our society and gay marriage is a threat to that foundation.'
Then Mitt signs it. Done deal. No hearings. No appeals. No judges. No votes. No states rights. No marriages.
